In the fall, Mother Nature gifted me with plenty of leaves to softly blanket my flower beds. This coming spring, when the soil begins to warm, I will carefully begin to pull away the dead leaves. |
During the winter, the tall, lance-shaped leaves from a clump of Siberian Iris had quickly become withered and brown. With the spring, little spiky, sharp-edged patches of green will start to appear among the brown leaves.
Come spring, a slumbering forsythia will slowly start to stretch upward toward the warm sun. Then soon, bright yellow flowers will begin dotting newly greening branches.
A new year heralds a new season ... and life renews itself once again.
Happy New Year 2016 To All
Spring is just around the corner ....
