Gosh, it's been quite a long time since I posted. Life can make for many different changes. Anyway, still love living here in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Every season has its own special beauty. And Snow often creates a canvas for the beauty of Winter!
Wildlife, at any time of the year is lovely, but in Winter, it is sometimes strikingly beautiful! Despite this bird's tiny size, this common, little, Dark-Eyed Junco stands out in a snowy landscape.
Just gaze up into the trees and you might be very surprised by what you might see. These four Mourning Doves found a cozy little spot where they could nestle together to share their warmth!
And what would the Poconos be without Deer?
They are beautiful! Smart! Tenacious! And probably the most photographed animal in Pennsylvania! I just love them!
